We lay my love and I beneath a weeping willow, but now alone I lie and weep beside the tree. Singing O Willow Waly by the tree that weeps with me, singing O Willow Waly 'til my lover returns to me. We lay my love and I beneath a weeping willow, but now alone I lie. Oh Willow I die, Oh Willow I die.
A pretty bad movie from today's standard, honestly. However I cannot help but feel that it might present the zeitgeist of that time (think about Star Trek). The lines might also be a quintessence of British humor. For these reason I spared a two-star rating.
